First Herping Hike of 2023: Herping BINGO

It’s rock flipping season again!

Did you know?

April is the start of Woodhouse’s Toad mating season! This means we will have opportunities to see lots of toads and tadpoles.

Please join us for NCHS’s first nature excursion of 2023.

This is a donation-based event.

While the weather can be fickle in April, hopefully we’ll see some beautiful sunny days, perfect for basking turtles coming out of brumation. Luckily, there is always wildlife of all species to view here in Colorado!

We will have Herping BINGO cards available for you to play during this event, and opportunities to win prizes for your observations!

Spots are limited, so sign up your group ahead of time to ensure all can participate. If you have questions about accommodations or accessibility, please contact lisa@nocohs.org.

Location will be revealed to participants upon registration to ensure minimal tampering with natural spaces. Learn more about Guided Hikes here!

Please note that registration has closed, due to a full class. If you missed your chance to sign up, don’t worry: we’re planning to have guided herping hikes throughout the summer.

Subscribe to the newsletter to be the first to know when the next registration opens up!
